Biofuels Energy

Solar Wind Tidal Geothermal
Hydro-Electric Nuclear Bio Fuels
Fossil Fuels

BiofuelsTheir are many different types of bio fuels. Some are feasible and some are just pretending to be. Corn Ethanol for instance is not really that feasible. It is efficient by a ration of 1.24 as measured by the United States Department of Agriculture. That means that for every 100 gallons of "energy" you use, you get 124 out. That sounds good but remember that corn grows in large fields. These fields are cutting apart habitat and needlessly eroding the soil. The same is with Bio Diesel. Particularly Palm Oil that is used to create bio diesel. South-East Asia's rainforests have been seriously depleated due to palm oil production. A demand for bio-diesel has made it even worse. However, bio fuels are much less directly pollutive than their fossil fuel counter-parts.
