The preceived birth of life on our planet, to the evolution of species, to shifting of land masses, to ice ages, and mass extinctions; mother earth has been through a lot. It's almost surreal to understand the changes that have occurred over the last 4 billion years.

From the constant debate about climate change, to the various noted particulars of pollution; things are painted sometimes brighter colors than they should be. For other things the opposite is true. 
Habitat destruction, over-fishing, over-hunting, and just plain disrupting on our part has cause much of a rift in many ecosystems around the world. Its not that we're removing a species, we're tearing apart a system that our own lives depend on.
